Temporary Power for the 2019 Pan American Games

The 2019 Pan American Games in Lima brought multi-sport competition, continental broadcast coverage, and complex event overlay across Peruvian venues. Temporary power for televised sport at this level must support competition venues, media, and the International Broadcast Centre without compromising competition schedules.

Under GL events, FLOW was appointed official power provider for the Games. Despite the geographical distance from FLOW’s Middle East base, delivery ran through the GL events Peru office, covering the complete temporary power scope including all televised sports, the International Broadcast Centre, and the entire event overlay.

Local supplier partnerships reduced the environmental footprint of long-distance freight while preserving the engineering standards expected on multi-sport programmes.
